Data Fields

The Data Field page displays the list of all the data fields displayed in TrakIT which are not a part of any workflow. Currently, Assets fields, Depot fields, Entity fields, Item fields, Quotation fields, Users fields, and Company fields are displayed in the list.

Select the appropriate type from the drop down menu (if given) and click on create button. A sample is given below:

Field Name: Enter the name of the field up to a maximum of 50 characters.

Code: Enter the unique code of the field up to a maximum of 10 characters.

Data Type: Select the data type of this field.

Computed: Specify if the value of this field will be computed instead of being entered.

WO Data Update: Specify if the value of this field will automatically update Workorder Data with the same code.

Display: Specify if the value of this field will displayed in the table of its parents.

Mandatory: Select if the field is mandatory

Active: Select if the field is active

And click on the 'Create' button. Once the field is created will be displayed against the respective data they are associated with.
