Warehouses & Yards
Add Headings and they will appear in your table of contents.
This page displays the lists of the various warehouses and yards - their name, code, address, location, and sizes, and whether a particular warehouse is active or not.
Click on 'Add' button to add Warehouse or a Container Yard. A sample is given below
Code: Enter a unique code for the warehouse, up to a maximum of 10 characters.
Name: Enter a unique name for the warehouse, up to a maximum of 50 characters.
Type: Select whether this is a warehouse or a container yard.
Address: Enter the full address for the warehouse or a container yard, up to a maximum of 200 characters.
Size: Specify the size of the warehouse or a container yard in square meters
Location: Select the location of the warehouse or a container yard from the drop down menu.
Company Access: Specify the companies that can access this warehouse or a container yard.
Active: Specify if the warehouse or a container yard is active.
And click on 'Create Button'.
Click on pencil icon to modify existing Warehouse or a Container Yard entry. All fields can be amended except Type.
Click on the icon to remove entry from the system.
About Warehouse
Warehouse is a combination of Warehouse Name + Area Name + Storage Name. One "Warehouse" can have multiple "Areas" and one "Warehouse Area" can have multiple "Storages" as shown below:
When you add an "Area" under a warehouse it will ask for following information:
Code - It is a user input which denotes the Unique Area Code across all warehouses.
Name : It is a user input which denotes the Unique Area Name across all warehouses.
